ABOUT US
5 years ago, my dad and I watched my grandmother go through the struggles of rehabilitation following double total knee replacement surgery. We sought to create a solution that would provide better outcomes at reduced costs and with greater patient engagement.
Dr. Manish Vaidya (Co-Founder) is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas. After graduating from the University of Florida, Manish served as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Kansas before joining the faculty at UNT in 2000. Manish’s research interests have often combined applied or clinical concerns with cutting edge behavioral science. Since 2015, however, he has become explicitly interested in bringing behavior science to bear on medically or clinically relevant issues such as obesity, exercise, and rehabilitation from injury. He is a member of the American College of Rehabilitation Medicine and a frequent presenter on the nexus between behavior science and medicine. He has come to realize that all successful solutions are multi-faceted and seeks to bring that insight to bear through the development of behavioral tools.
